The vast meadows and rolling hills of Dungate Community Forest offer a snowmobiler’s playground in the winter months.
With 61 members strong and growing, the Houston Snowmobile Club (HSC) is passionate about winter recreation. Dungate Community Forest grants help make it happen. From trail maintenance to community events, Houston Snowmobile Club has been a driving force since the 1970s in keeping the spirit of winter adventure alive in our community.
Dungate was a platinum sponsor for the 2021/2022 season, and continues to sponsor the Family Day event. Previously, they donated to the club’s popular Poker Ride event. The Houston Snowmobile Club built and maintains a cabin within Dungate Community Forest where they host many events,

Throughout the years, HSC members have participated in Search and Rescues, finding lost people, and have assisted on avalanche rescues. The HSC has provided valuable avalanche seminars, snowmobile/ATV shows in Houston, and hosted many other successful events.
Houston Snowmobile Club offers a safe and fun environment for riders of all ages, with trails that cater to everyone from beginners to experienced enthusiasts.
In addition to Dungate Meadows, HSC maintains trails and provides information about Sibolas/Rhineridge and the Telkwa Riding Range.
